# ChatGPT for PowerPoint

> An add-in that puts ChatGPT in a sidebar inside PowerPoint, to draft decks from your material and add or revise slides in place.

**ChatGPT for PowerPoint brings ChatGPT into the presentation itself.** From a sidebar it can draft a deck from notes or a document, add or rewrite slides in an existing deck, answer questions about the story, and adapt a deck for another audience. The slides stay editable in PowerPoint.

It works in your template **where it can**, but OpenAI notes that slides may not match your house style and some chart and formatting features are limited. Their advice: duplicate the file first and check every number. Your IT team may need to install it.

Your board deck needs a version for the sales team? Duplicate it, open the add-in, and ask for the same story with less detail and more on what changes for customers.
