Intelligent Recap turns a transcribed Teams meeting into something you can catch up on. After the meeting, you open the Recap tab in the meeting chat to find AI-generated notes and follow-up tasks, plus markers showing when your name came up, who spoke when and which topics were covered. Copilot can also draft notes, list your action items or write a follow-up email, citing the transcript and chat.
The fuller experience needs Teams Premium or a Copilot licence, so a colleague on another plan may see a simpler recap of the same meeting. The meeting must be transcribed, and some markers also need a recording. Copilot does not work in meetings hosted outside your organisation, so for sensitive meetings decide deliberately whether transcription stays on.
